Thanks for sharing this rare footage. It's really awesome. It makes you wonder what would have been "Kind of Blue" if the pianist had been Wynton Kelly in all the tunes. Perhaps not so groundbreaking?
Wondrous! And it had to stop. Still, it picked me up from this overcast, chilly day and transported me to the weather of cool, driving and swinging sound. The cinematography spoke to me too. Very sophisticated, jazz-tinged. As my dear dad used to say, I'm glad I didn't die of the measles.
He also told me once about my youthful love of music, "No one can take that away from you."
